Ampere Node develops an intelligent energy management system that combines battery energy storage systems (BESS) with advanced AI analytics and edge computing, transforming batteries into active sources of revenue. By directly integrating with the client’s production and consumption data, the system optimizes battery operation in real time — from energy market arbitrage and participation in balancing services to reducing costs resulting from mismatches between production and consumption.
As part of the Orange Fab acceleration program, Ampere Node carried out an Energy-as-a-Service project for Orange Polska’s telecommunications infrastructure. The team developed a feasibility study for a site in Bydgoszcz, as well as the ESS Estimator platform, which supports profitability assessments for investments in energy storage systems at base stations. They also developed an MVP of a dispatch algorithm optimizing battery operation against market prices and frequency regulation services (aFRR). The program ran from April 2025 to April 2026 and concluded with a positive evaluation of all three milestones.
